That’s generous.
Some pediatric specialists suggest closer to 30 minutes at a time.
And I completely understand how easy it is to stretch it.
They’re asleep.
You’re on the move.
It rolls like a stroller.
But it isn’t a stroller. It’s a car seat with wheels.
Even if my baby falls asleep in the car, I take him out and put him in the carrier. We have the Doona X with the “near flat” feature - and near flat still isn’t flat. Especially for a newborn.
We travel a lot. For us, it made sense to have a car seat that turns into wheels and doubles as a luggage cart in the airport. But that’s all it is.
A few extra minutes here or there is not the end of the world. We just try to to use it for what it was actually designed for. 🤍
