both Doriane and Isack's family have a lot to be proud of since their members have achieved so much in the motorsports world with all the pressure on their back- Isack getting a podium five months after crashing in the formation lap of the first race in season and Doriane getting this huge title in her last F1 academy race after many ups and downs- SO HAPPY FOR BOTH OF THEM!

La piloto francesa de 22 años se convirtió en la primera mujer en subirse a un monoplaza de Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, marcando un hito para la categoría. 🏁 El test se llevó a cabo en Silverstone Circuit, donde Pin condujo el W12, monoplaza utilizado por Lewis Hamilton y Valtteri Bottas.

PODoriane Pin devient pilote de développement en Formule 1.
Un rôle clé au sein d’une écurie, au cœur du travail technique et stratégique.
Concrètement, un pilote de développement :
– travaille sur simulateur avec les ingénieurs pour faire évoluer la voiture,
– participe aux activités techniques à l’usine,
– est présent lors de certains week-ends de Grand Prix pour aider les équipes pendant les essais et fournir des retours précis,
– joue un rôle de liaison avec les jeunes pilotes et la F1 Academy.
C’est souvent une étape centrale dans une carrière en F1, une position qui permet de comprendre la discipline de l’intérieur et, parfois, de se rapprocher d’un poste de pilote titulaire en Grand Prix, sans que cela soit automatique.
À ce jour, aucune femme n’a disputé un Grand Prix de Formule 1 depuis 1976, avec l’Italienne Lella Lombardi.
Chaque avancée à ce niveau reste donc hautement symbolique.
