DADay 8: Tips for drawing little people
Draw fast. Fast lines feel more confident. Confidence comes from repetition, until your hand knows what to do. It might not happen after just a few attempts. This skill is built over time. Practice daily, and the results will appear 😊👍
Draw a lot of people. When you have a few figures, they become a crowd, and individual “mistakes” feel less important.💃🕺
Enjoy the process. Once you grasp the basic proportions, it’s fun to create little characters. I like to add the head last because it feels easier to me. But it’s also a good idea to try starting with the head first, you can compare what works better for you.
I still practice this often, little people are simple, but they always teach me something.✍🏻
