Why on earth are these green subsidies going to this instead of going to alpha chad renewables? well, because some slimy people can make a killing off these singular large emitting generators. The future is in clean small-scale community or worker-owned energy sources.
Drax Power Station burns massive old growth forests all around the world, and processes this wood in predominantly black and brown neighbourhoods where marginalised folk are subject to cancerous air. Only sociopaths like ugly polluting energy.
