How to get back on track with your routine ⬇️ Whether you’re travelling this summer, or have been busy with exams or work deadlines, sometimes life challenges us and we can’t always keep up with our routines. But don’t worry, getting back on track is easier than you think! Here are my top 3 tips to help you bounce back: 1️⃣Start small and build momentum: Don’t overwhelm yourself with a complete overhaul. Begin with small, manageable tasks. I like to make a to-do list with everything that’s on my mind and then pick 3 tasks that I will work on that day, and it could be self-care, work on chores. 2️⃣Plan in advance: Have you fallen off all of your habits, or just one? Plan your days the night before and set priorities. If I’ve fallen off with one of my habits, I will set weekly and monthly goals to prioritise them, and focus on it. 3️⃣Don’t miss 2 days: If you’re trying to get back on track with working out, or eating well, journaling, whatever it is don’t miss it two days in a row. For example, right now I’m trying to get back into journaling daily, and I’m focusing on it for June, so I’m trying not to miss 2 days in a row.
