BRWe saw this idea and decided to try it with Cheech this year, and it ended up being so special. We planted jelly beans together in the garden the night before, and he helped water them like they were actually going to grow. After he went to bed, we swapped them out for Easter eggs and candy so that when he woke up, it looked like everything had grown overnight. Watching him go out and pick everything himself was the sweetest moment. Such a simple idea, but it made the whole experience feel really magical.
