Share THIS with other Zero-Wasters!😌 An Eco-brick has been a controversial topic in the Sustainability community. And many are pro and many are against it. I’m a pro because I feel that is the ONLY option currently for some of the plastic tidbits that CANNOT be recycled because of its size and nature of easily getting lost. I accept that it isn’t a perfect solution. But it’s the only option to contain those tiny pieces so that they don’t become microplastics in our soil. If you are against the Eco-brick. My one question to you is ‘What do you suggest we do with pieces of cellotapes, sweet wrappers, plastic openers of tetrapaks, cut off pieces of biscuit or chips packets, stickers, label, tags and so much more?’ These usually get lost when the waste is moved from one bin to the other because of its light weight and size. But if you’re making an Eco-Brick, keep these in mind: ❌ An eco-brick is NOT for storing recyclable plastics AT ALL. ❌ DO NOT put in any material or item that may have a monetary value if recycled or Upcycled. ❌ DO NOT send it for Recycling! ✅ ONLY add absolute reject items which cannot be recycled and will get lost, into an Ecobrick. ✅ ONLY and ONLY start making an Ecobrick if you’re willing to send them by yourself to the following organisations once it’s filled up: Instead send it to these ORGANISATIONS: > @scrapshala > @projectsurat > @kudabazar > @kabaadey > @samarpanfoundation18 ❓What are YOUR thoughts on an Ecobrick? Ecobrick perdana dibulan April 2025 Setelah proses mengumpulkan plastik, membersihkan dan menggunting semuanya, kali ini proses membuat ecobrick yg baik dan kuat 1.persiapan.bahan dan alat siapkan botol yg tlah bersih dan kering serta tongkat bambu bukan besi yaaa, kegunaan bambu ini untuk memudahkan proses memadatkan plastik di dalam botol. Teman - tema jika berminat beli tongkat sperti ini boleh DM @ecobricksindonesia . 2) proses memasukkan plastik kedalam botol. pertama yg dimasukkan adalah kantong kresek bekas jika ada kira kira hingga menutupi bagian dasar botol sekitar 1 cm, setelah padat boleh memasukkan plastik yg beraneka warna dan keteballannya,. 3) proses penimbangan jika botol telah terisi setengah dan tlah padat , ecobricknya kita timbang dulu untuk memastikan pekerjaan memadatkan ecobrick kita tlah benar, untuk botol ukuran 600 ml minimal 200 gram dan jika botol 1500 ml minimal 500 gram total berat ecobricknya. 4) penyelesaian /validasi Setelah botol terisi penuh dan padat proses akhir adalah validasi ke www.gobrik.com guna mendaftarkan ecobrick kita pada akun gobrik masing - masing ecobricker sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab personal kita dan komunitas guna menjaga keharmonisan bumi ini Selamat mencoba di rumah yaa #ecobrick #ecobricks #ecobrickindonesia #ecobricksplasticsolved #airaandecobricks
