After a day of interacting with large King Cobras, mambas and many other species he told me he has a real cr — Old video from awhile ago at @mulletsnax After a day of interacting with large King Cobras, mambas and many other species he told me he has a real cranky smaller monocled I should check out, well to my surprise it really was a cranky snake, typically when handling elapids, the larger the easier as when hooking and tailing. This is due to the fact that the head is much closer to your hand and you have much less reaction time to respond if the snake turns to bite. In all reality if the animal need to be moved for maintenance or feeding you would easily hook it out and place into a separate holding container but for the sake of handling the animal just for enjoyment it’s better to leave some species or individuals alone based on temperament. This includes several swimming towards us in rivers, when I wasn't able to get the camera out fast enough to capture the moment. So, here's an older video of an Eastern Brown swimming across my path, because I know you guys love this stuff. The music... well that's just for dramatic effect for our American friends. The reality is, although these are one of the most venomous snakes in the world, you've got more chance of dying from a vending machine accident, than a bite from a Brown. Not everything in Australia is trying to kill you. Just most things, sometimes. #flyfishing #brownsnake #findyourwater
