✳️IFT means Interferential Therapy ek bahut hi effective electrotherapy modality hai - lekin sabse bada confusion hota hai: “Kis condition mein kaunsi frequency use karein?”🤷🏻‍♀️🤔🤔 👉Here is a simplified breakdown.. ✅Low Frequency (0-10 Hz) 📌For chronic pain and muscle stimulation 📌Stimulate motor nerve - muscle contraction 📌Use in : chronic LBA,OA, muscle re-education ✅Medium Frequency (90-130Hz) 📌For Acute pain and Inflammation 📌Target Sensory nerve- pain gate mechanism 📌Use in: Post op pain, acute sprain/strain ✅Sweep /Vector mode OWn 📌Helps in treating large area 📌Prevent Accomodation of nerves 📌Used in sciatica,B/L knee OA, radiculopathy 🧠🧠Correct frequency selection = better results! Based on: Electrotherapy Simplified by Basanta Kumar Nanda & Textbook of Electrotherapy by Jagmohan Singh📚 👉Save it to revise it later. #movement #exercise #spreadawareness #healthylifestyle #physiotherapy #strongandgrowingworld #physio #growth #kindness #proudphysiotherapist #fitness #medical #healing #strength #keepmoving #movementismedicine🧘‍♂️ #handsoncare #therapeuticexercise #posturecorrection #prevention #recovery #rehabilitation #viralreeĺs #fracturerehab #rehabilitation #painfree #medicos

Use the correct mode of TENS : 1. Conventional TENS (High frequency - 80-100 Hz) Best for: Acute pain, post-operative pain, sprain/ strain Duration: 20-30 min Feeling: Light tingling 2. Burst TENS V Best for: Chronic pain, muscle spasm, lumbar pain ~ Duration: 20-40 min ~ Feeling: Pulses grouped in bursts 3. Modulated TENS ~ Best for: Long sessions where patient adapts V Use for: Cervical/LBP, chronic shoulder/knee 4. Acupuncture-like TENS (Low frequency - 1-4 Hz) Best for: Deep, chronic pain (sciatica, OA knee, trigger points) Duration: 15-20 min Feeling: Slight tapping / muscle twitch 5. Brief Intense TENS ~ Best for: Painful procedures (MFR, deep tissue work, stretching) Duration: Short — 5-10 min 6 . Sweep / Vector / TNS Mode Best for: Larger area or diffuse pain V Use for: Back pain, postural pain #physiostudents #physiotherapy #physiomotivation #electrotherapy #physio

Follow for more skin science 🩵 High Frequency is not a “new trend.” It’s a 100+ year old electrical technology. In 1891, Nikola Tesla demonstrated high-frequency alternating currents. A few years later, French physiologist Jacques-Arsène d’Arsonval began applying these currents in medical research. From those early electrotherapy experiments came what we now call “high frequency” in aesthetics. Since the late 19th century, cosmetology has used this controlled electrical energy to stimulate the skin safely at the surface level. The device works through a glass electrode filled with gas. When current passes through it, the gas ionizes — and that’s why it glows. There are two common gases: Purple glow = argon. Argon interacting with oxygen forms small amounts of ozone, creating short-term antibacterial surface support. That’s why it’s often used for breakouts and post-extractions. Orange glow = neon. Neon produces slightly stronger thermal stimulation, increasing local circulation and oxygen delivery. That’s why it’s used for dull skin and scalp stimulation. Same frequency. Different gas. Different biological emphasis. #Skin #highfrequency #acne #pimple #zemits

Imagine breaking a bone and having it heal faster than ever before with electricity. This isn't science fiction; it's a real breakthrough that's showing promising results in mice and could one day change how we treat bone injuries in humans. #BoneHealing #MedicalBreakthrough #Electrotherapy

#eletroterapia #electrotherapy #galvanic #galvaniccurrent #galvanica
