Crankshaft: Converts the piston’s up-down motion into rotary motion to drive the vehicle. Valves: Control intake of air–fuel mixture and exhaust of burnt gases. Camshaft & Timing Belt: Synchronize valve opening/closing with piston movement. Manifold: Directs air/fuel into the engine and exhaust gases out. Oil Pump: Circulates engine oil for lubrication and cooling of parts. Water Pump: Circulates coolant to maintain engine temperature. Connecting Rod: Links piston to crankshaft, transmitting force.

Explanation of the engine sensors shown in the image and their role in engine management: 🔧 Types of Engine Sensors 1. TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) Function: Measures how far the throttle valve is opened Purpose: Helps ECU control fuel injection, ignition timing, and acceleration Symptoms if faulty: Poor acceleration, jerking, high idle, delayed throttle response 2. MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor Function: Measures air pressure inside the intake manifold Purpose: Determines engine load for correct fuel delivery Symptoms if faulty: Black smoke, poor mileage, rough idle, hard starting 3. MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor Function: Measures the amount (mass) of air entering the engine Purpose: Calculates accurate air-fuel ratio Symptoms if faulty: Engine hesitation, stalling, low power, check engine light 4.
