CBUPDATE: Colombian mayor says a body was found in the search for Eric Fernando Gutierrez Molina.
The partner of missing American Airlines flight attendant Eric Fernando Gutierrez Molina says he is “shattered” as the search continues for him in Medellín, Colombia. Gutierrez Molina, a 32-year-old U.S. citizen and North Texas resident, disappeared Saturday night during a layover after going out with a fellow flight attendant in Medellín’s El Poblado neighborhood, according to loved ones and Colombian officials.
Adding to the mystery, Gutierrez Molina’s friend tells @cbenavidestv the colleague who was out with him that night could not recall parts of the evening and returned to the layover hotel disoriented. She said she believes she was also “a victim of whatever Fernando is going through right now.”
