Dinosaurs was a satirical family sitcom that aired on ABC from 1991 to 1994, created by Michael Jacobs and Bob Young and produced by Jim Henson Productions and Disney.
It followed the Sinclair family of talking dinosaurs living in a modern-style prehistoric world, humorously reflecting human society. The father, Earl, his wife Fran, their kids Robbie, Charlene, and the mischievous Baby Sinclair starred in stories that mixed comedy with social commentary on issues like environment, gender roles, and consumerism.
The show was known for its groundbreaking animatronic costumes, clever satire, and dark final episode where the dinosaurs cause their own extinction.
