Trying to be okay with imperfect posts! Here’s a little practice clip from this week getting ready for tour with @calebandreeb. I always tell my students to practice improvising with different themes or parameters to explore various elements of the melody. This is what I was aiming for— 1. Melody 2. Long bows (needs more melodic clarity) 3. Low octave (needs vocabulary expansion 4. 16th notes (needs more melodic creativity) 5-6. Tex Logan inspired (got too excited and rushed a lot haha) and 7. Combo- also needs work haha. Stoked for this tour! #fiddle #practice
