ST✨ My @fleuron.paris bag is one of my most-worn purchases from Paris this year 😌 I knew the Mini Swann would be the one once I tried it in the store, and I ended up skipping the @polene_paris store during my time there 🙊 I received some questions on whether it’s a great alternative, so here are some reasons I chose Fleuron ❤️
✨The leather is supple and high-quality, and sourced from the same manufacturers as Hermes. (Yes—same manufacturer can still mean differences in leather grade) But the quality lived up to the claim once I felt the product in-person.
✨The Fleuron boutique felt small and personable, with no lines to get inside! The staff was super helpful and eager to help. While I never made it to Polene, but I hear the lines in Paris get crazy which was a deterrent for me 😳
✨After trying a few Polene designs in NYC, I could never find the perfect size / design that fit what I needed. I didn’t have this issue with Fleuron’s Mini Swann bag. Despite how small it looks, it can fit a long wallet, sunglasses, and iPhone ✅
✨Polene has really blown up on the U.S. and I didn’t want to spend on a style that felt so easily recognizable.
Overall, I found Polene’s bags to be more architectural and aesthetic, while Fleuron hit the right balance between practical and chic 😌 And in the end, that was what worked best for me ❤️
@fleuron.paris does ship the U.S. with a $20 fee. By purchasing my bag in Paris, I was able to save ~12% with the VAT refund.
