(Tutorial) Flexi rod set on stretched hair 🫶🏾 I haven’t done a flexi rod set in 4 years and I regret not revisiting this style SOONER. I loved the results i was able to achieve on stretched hair, it gave me the body and elongation I was hoping for. Using a styling mousse vs a curl mousse absolutely made a difference in how my style turned out. I wasn’t afraid of my curls reverting just a good bit of hold! If your flexi rod sets aren’t lasting at least a week… you’re probably making this mistake⬇️ ✔️Too much product Less is more friend, avoid using too much product and opt for a lightweight foam (I love using my Keracare foam) ✔️Sleeping without a bonnet or a satin scarf Take that extra effort to put that bonnet on before you go to bed…trust me it makes the difference in preserving the curls! ✔️ Taking your hair out before it’s fully dry… Make sure it is completely dry from root to end before you take your hair out.
