In spring, this is easily one of the most rewarding hikes in the Flims–Laax region 💙🌿 📍4-Lakes Trail, Graubünden 🇨🇭 🚘 The hike begins and ends in Flims Waldhaus, which is easily accessible by car (around 1.5 hours from Zürich). There are several paid parking areas nearby. 🚂 If you prefer public transport, take the train to Chur and continue by bus to Flims, Waldhaus Caumasee. From the bus stop it’s just a short walk to the start of the trail. 🗺️ The full route is about 12.9 km and takes roughly 3h 40min to complete, with around 333 m of elevation gain. It’s considered a moderate hike — perfect for a refreshing spring day outdoors. 🌷 Highlights along the trail include: ✨ Lag Prau Pulté – a peaceful little alpine lake ✨ Lag Prau Tuleritg – often filled with water in spring and surrounded by fresh greenery ✨ Caumasee – one of Switzerland’s most iconic turquoise lakes ✨ Il Spir viewpoint – offering breathtaking views over the Rhine Gorge ✨ Crestasee – emerald-green waters, a peaceful setting, plus a lido and historic inn ✨ Felsbach Gorge – a dramatic final section before returning to Flims Waldhaus 🧺 There are several places along the trail where you can stop for a break or a picnic while enjoying the spring scenery — so take your time and enjoy the hike 🌿 🗺️ My Ultimate Switzerland Guide includes over 200 spots, with 70+ hikes across the country.
