Did you know a little piece of foam could improve your ride? This is how to strengthen your controller signal to your Foil Drive 📶✅ Touching the side of the controller directly against the nose of the board also helps with connectivity if the entire board is submerged. Lastly, if using the foam fillers does not improve signal, you can either purchase a Foil Drive External Antenna Patch or a Foil Drive Approved Board ✅ Contact your local dealer if you need any extra!

Testing out the @foildrive @foildrive.europe ​⁠Fusion for my 1st time on any Foil Drive / Foil assist device. I didn’t know if I needed any specific board or foil equipment, So I figured I’d try with my F-One wingfoiling equipment to start with and see how it goes! I’m 87KG before wetsuit and the only board I have is the F-One Rocket 5’ 60L. The largest Foil I wing with is the Eagle X900 and I used that with the 141W rear stab to start out with. I had watched the videos and felt ready to go for it. I went on a day with wind, chop and some swell and it really didn’t work out for me to be honest!! So no to be put off, but I needed to take it more seriously and use a bit of a sensible strategy, so day 2 I borrowed a larger foil (Seven Seas 1200) with large size fuse and a 210DW rear stab. I moved the mast from the front of the fin box (where I use it for winging) to the middle of the tracks, I took the footstraps off and I drove 30 minutes to a spot with calmer water (less chop) and it was so worth the effort as it was then easy to get up! The wing board having the amount of rocker it has and being wide is not ideal to get up on a small foil, but it was actually really stable while up on foil and paired up with 1200 front wing it wasn’t a bad choice for my 1st flights. So the journey has begun and I look forward to continuing the Foil Drive journey and progressing with this new (to me) sport. Mainly I am using my foil drive max to enable downwinders without needing a shuttle. Or even when it's onshore.
