I’m coming out of the broom closet 🧹 I always worry that people won’t understand it, think it is strange, role play, that I think magick is “magic” (as in, Harry Potter, Matilda magic). I don’t, I’m not delusional. To me magick and witchcraft is being close to the natural world. It is honouring Mother Nature, being run by the seasons, using herbs for medicine (along with western medications) and intentions. “Spells” are not a click of the finger and something supernatural happens. They are concentrating your energy to help towards your goal. In religion it’s similar to pray if that helps people understand. But praying to a religious god has never felt right for me. Working with the universe and earth, that makes sense to me. I know this won’t come as a surprise to most, but to some, it hasn’t properly been admitted. Witchcraft for me feels right, I’m still relatively early on in my practice (5 slow years) but I am indeed, one of those Witches babe ✨ . #witchcraft #australianwitch #australianwitches #australianwitchcraft #witchcore #greenwitch #forestwitch #forestcore #imawitch #southernhemispherewitch
