See the points at the beginning of the video? Each point is a splat in a 3D space and using a smoothing technique (think gaussian blur in photoshop 😉) — this creates a smoother image output = Gaussian Splatting. This technique of rendering is usually used for rendering volumetric data from 2D to 3D.
This render vs my older one is certainly smoother and more crisp 🥹!
