LUHealing rarely begins with pushing harder or judging yourself more. More often, it starts when you learn to meet your own pain with the same empathy you would offer someone you deeply love.

ZIAnd I don’t mean this in a sad and lonely way, but in a realistic grateful kind of way. It’s a nod to the moments when we require softness and kindness, but object ourselves to inner criticism for doing so. It’s for moments when we find ourselves spiralling exponentially fast down into the never-ending cycle of self-doubt and self-criticism. It is a call — to be kinder to ourselves as the world is already harsh as it is, and to be kind in return, to prove that the world could be a better place.
“And then, there are days like today — where your body feels empty and it feels so hard to breathe; and you try to reach out to your closest confidants, but somehow, no one’s responding back: possibly caught up in their own days like this.
