Had another appointment today and everything is going well! Got to see baby girl for a little while on an ultrasound! Heartbeat was perfect! From here on out, they wanna see me every week, my gestational diabetes numbers are still good, my team that’s gonna be doing the C-section has hundreds of notes about me. They said on what to do, I am going to be up for this C-section and they will be doing both an epidural and a spinal. We are in the homestretch! Only a few more weeks!

Big babies… big deal? Or not? I am aware that the risk of shoulder dystocia increases with LGA (large for gestational age) babies. But most of these are handled successfully without long term consequences. Induction reduces that risk but doesn’t eliminate it (and imo causes more issues if the baby is truly big & isn’t engaged in the pelvis) And we cannot dismiss all the women who successfully birth big babies without even tearing. Honestly, we kind of expected that to be the result! 😂 Backstory ::: Kay has REALLY craved sweets during this pregnancy, and many people said that due to how often she was eating sweets and snacks, she would be at increased risk of gestational diabetes. 😔 The day has come in her pregnancy, where she needs to be checked, so we went to her doctor to drink a very sweet drink and have her checked to see her body reacted appropriately to it. We finished the appointment and had to wait a few days for the results! Finally the results came in and we were finally able to know whether or not she had it! ❤️ #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships #pregnant

Opinions change from professional individuals and just because one consultant advises you do something, it doesn’t mean you have to do it. Research. Understand the pros and cons. I hear women say all the time, they told me I had to have this, I had to do this etc. You don’t have to do anything you are not properly informed on. It is your body, your pregnancy and your baby.
