HOPortland’s newest hot pot spot 🍲
@bigheyhotpot is a self serve build your own hot pot restaurant where you pay by weight! 🍜
THOUGHTS: we love all the options they have for ingredients and that they have a sauce bar that is included with your purchase! We did feel like the spice level was inconsistent between our two bowls, which would be the only critique. We both got medium spicy but the Szechuan one tasted like it was extra hot. It was still very tasty but we wished it was less spicy, so we recommend getting mild for that one 🥵
Overall, we really enjoyed it though and will for sure come back!

EAa new Jewish deli just landed in Portland at by the owner of @mothersbistro Lisa Schroeder - Bubbie’s Deli Board at Mother’s Wednesday thru Friday from 9a-2p and it is long overdue I’m so stoked to be able to sit down and eat a lox plate, the softest, most tender pastrami sandwich and some matzo ball soup and the mac salad was incredible wow
