Ginger Ale recipe: 2 c peeled, chopped fresh ginger 4 c water 2 c pitted dates (packed) 6 strips lemon peel (yellow part only, ~2 inches each) Fresh lime juice (to serve) Make: Bring water, dates, ginger, & lemon peel to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for ~30 minutes (mashing the dates). Strain w/ a sieve/cheesecloth—squeeze to extract every drop of syrup. To Serve: Mix ~2 tbsp syrup + 1 cup mineral soda water + squeeze of lime. 2. Cream Soda Usually uses synthetic flavor from petrochemicals. Cream Soda Recipe: 1 c filtered water 1 c raw honey 1 c pure maple syrup 4 vanilla beans (split & scraped) Pinch of mineral salt Make: Combine water, honey, maple syrup, salt, & vanilla beans (seeds + pod) in a pot. Simmer over medium heat for ~5 min. Remove from heat, cool, & bottle (include the beans!) To Serve: Mix ~2 tbsp syrup + 1 cup mineral soda water. PRO TIP: want a probiotic rich fiz? Make this easy Ginger Bug to naturally carbonate sodas 1 & 2! Ginger Bug Ingredients: 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger (unpeeled) 2 tbsp raw honey ½ c filtered water Make: -Mix ginger, honey, & water in a jar. Cover with a cloth/rubber band. -Feed Daily: Add 1 tbsp grated ginger + 1 tbsp honey + splash of water. Stir. - Ready in 3-5 days, it will bubble and fizz. How to Bottle Sodas 1 & 2: Combine your syrup, ¼ c strained ginger bug liquid, & 2 c filtered water in a flip-top bottle. Seal tightly & leave at room temp for 1–3 days. Check daily to burp. Refrigerate once fizzy. 3. Orange Fanta is chemically colored sugar water. Orange Fanta recipe: 2 c fresh orange juice (1:1 Valencia & Clementine ) 1 ¾ c filtered water 3 tbsp & 1tsp raw honey 1 tsp lemon juice Peels of 3 oranges (Organic/unwaxed!) ⅛ tsp turmeric powder Pinch of sea salt Make: In a jar, mash orange peels with honey, turmeric, and salt. Let sit for ~1 hour to extract oils. Pour in fresh OJ, water, lemon juice & tsp honey. Stir vigorously. Cover w/ a cloth and sit at room temp ~3 days until bubbly. Strain into a swing-top bottle & seal for 24 hours to build pressure. Chill & serve!

Crispy beef dumpling cones - crunchy, cheesy pockets of flavour 6 tortillas Olive oil spray Beef dumpling filling: 400 g beef mince 1/3 cup chives, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, grated 1 tbsp ginger, finely grated 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce 2 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine 1 cup grated mozzarella Chilli crisp Extra chives, finely chopped 1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut each tortilla in half. Roll each half into a cone shape and secure with a toothpick. 2. Place on a lined baking tray, spray lightly with olive oil and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove toothpicks. 3. Meanwhile, in a bowl combine beef mince, garlic chives, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper and Shaoxing wine. Mix well. 4. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef mixture and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned and slightly crispy. 5. Fill each crispy cone with the beef mixture. Stand the cones upright on a baking tray, using ramekins to hold them upright if needed. 6. Sprinkle grated mozzarella over the top of each cone. Bake for 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden. 7. Drizzle with chilli oil and sprinkle with extra garlic chives to serve. #beef #tortilla #crispybeefcone #dinner

Outsmarting my kids since 2k21 Link to order my book is in my bio! 📕 Mango Chicken Curry Ingredients: 600g diced chicken breast 1 tbsp garlic powder salt and pepper 1 heaped tbsp coconut oil 6 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon minced ginger Juice of 1/2 lime 2 tbsp of korma curry paste or 1 pot (i use @pataksuk from @ocadouk ) 1 tin of full cream coconut milk 250g fresh mango chunks, blended 1/2 tin of mixed beans or butter beans Add chicken breast chunks to a bowl and season with garlic powder and salt and pepper. Heat up coconut oil in a large frying pan and fry chicken over a medium heat until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside To the same pan add the garlic and ginger and curry paste and fry for a minute then add the coconut milk. Blend the mango and beans till super smooth then add them in too with a 100ml water. Add chicken back in and serve with rice!

Chicken Cheese Sticks 🍗🧀❤️‍🔥 [~155 cals 23g protein] - Find my cookbooks in my bio 👀💖 - ✰ 16 oz ground chicken breast - onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground ginger, salt & pepper ✰ 6 low fat mozzarella sticks ✰ 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1. Separate ground chicken into 6 equal pieces. 2. On plastic wrap, flatten one piece of chicken, add cheese stick to middle then fold over plastic wrap. Seal edges of chicken and make sure no cheese is exposed cause itll ooze out if not. 3. Sprinkle Parmesan over cheese stick and roll. 4. Air fry at 400F for about 12 minutes or until golden and internal temp reads 165F. 5. Enjoy! ^ highly recommend dipping in pizza/pasta sauce ✨ - Makes 6 sticks (macros per stick) cals 150 fat 6g carbs 1g protein 23g
