ADThe temp went from 50 yesterday to snow today. 2 hour run done all at low heart rate. The run started off with nice weather but a few miles from home it got to the point I couldn't see more than a few feet in front of me. I honestly wouldn't change it for anything. RUme and winter do NOT get along, but today I didn’t let it make me it’s lil bish. I showed up and moved through it, real feel single digits, (I’m in GA yall… that’s Cold!!) for 3.5 hours.
That’s ultratraining. Not the pace this time, not the distance as much, but the mental grit of pushing myself forward in something that I KNOW is gonna suck the entire time.

FXWhat a good run, and to compliment it, I had a new addition with my @pinnaclerising Founders Performance hat. It’s ultralight, breathable and drys quick. Not to mention it’s Veteran owned by a guy I knew in the Navy. Go check em out and keep up to date with everything he’s doing.

DUARCTIC SPINE 293 Miles - I tried to do a video for every 10 miles but it wasn’t possible. Mainly because of the cold. It was -38 for quite a few of the days and then -30 for the rest. This is a small snap shot obviously. I was also hammering the miles out and simply didn’t want to stop. Stopping isn’t easy when it’s that cold and takes no time at all to loose the hands and then have to spend 30 mins warming them up. #mindset #arcticspinerace #ultra #veteran #royalmarines
