PAPacific students had an absolutely AMAZING opportunity to gain hands-on learning experience this weekend at the @NCAA's Men's March Madness Tournament, currently holding first and second round games in Portland. 🏀
From running stats between coaches and the media, to guiding teams to post-game press conferences, March Madness has been to be a wonderful experience that will translate beyond our students' time at Pacific University.

FRAfter a year away from the court, the lights shined especially bright at last night’s Celtics game.
The training, hard work, and dedication never stopped. Some days, practice is the last place you want to be. Other times, you find yourself imagining the arena lights snapping on as the PA announcer introduces you to the crowd. Stepping onto that court is an experience few people will ever have.
Last night was proof that it all pays off.
The Framingham Police Honor Guard returned to TD Garden to present the nation’s colors during the national anthem—its first appearance since last season. Their work continues a proud tradition of representing our department across the region. Great job to everyone involved!
Also of note from last night’s game, Jayson Tatum made his return to the court.

MEWe received a message from a resident the other day, and we watned to address it. He said Officer Lynch was driving through the neighborhood when she saw his family shooting hoops in their driveway. There may have been a little leg kick on the follow through that is pretty funny.
Then March Madness energy carried over to Menasha Parks and Recreation's Jefferson Park where a differant basketball story happened. We can jsut say that Officer Browne and CSO Brown might need to take some basketball practive with Officer Lynch becuase at Jefferson Park they got smoked by the kids. Not just once, but twice did they lose.
One officer leaves undefeated after a single shot. Two others leave with sore legs and a reminder that kids do not take it easy on anyone.
That is community outreach, and this is how we want to be with our residents whenever we can. Humble, human, approachable. This is Menasha PD at its finest. That is L.E.E.D.ing Menasha.
