Posture and postural correction is one of the biggest scams I still see to this day, and it only works because you don't know what "good" or "bad" posture really is. Is your back rounded? Hip tilted? Spine curved? Whatever other weird orientation your body gets into, ask yourself these questions: 1. Am I in pain? 2. Is my joint movement restricted? 3. Am I ok with maybe looking like a hunchback caveman? If the answer to these are no(except maybe the 3rd one) then your posture is fine. Doing excessive posterior chain exercises, weird hip/shoulder external rotations and the like are not going to solve these issues. Training and becoming stronger through all your joint ranges of motion is what will fix any movement restriction or pain. Do it gradually over a period of time rather than dumb rehab exercises your trainer looked up on Google. One facet of posture comes down to comfort. I was a gamer, hunchback is how I lock in during boss fights or when I'm about to throw my mouse across the room. It's an easy position for me to be in. It doesn't necessarily mean it's bad for me, because I have full overhead shoulder and upper spine mobility with no pain. Fixing the aesthetic side of posture is simply undoing this comfort zone. Literally just practice sitting up and standing up straighter, that's how you fix your posture visually. That's fucking it, you fix it by undoing what caused you to hunch in the first place, so chuck the PC and phone. TL;DR Posture correction is bullshit. If you want to fix your posture, literally just sit and stand up straighter and do it till your body resets, exercises won't help here.

Your balance problem might not be your legs. It might be your spine. If the pillars are weak, the structure shakes. Strong spinal erectors = better balance, stronger single-leg movements, improved posture, and a more resilient lower back. Stop skipping your posterior chain work. Train your back extensions. Control your tempo. Build the pillars. Your body is only as stable as the foundation you build. #SpinalErectors #LowerBackStrength #PosteriorChain

Good posture isn’t about standing straight. It’s about being built that way. People can read dominance and status in under a second. Posture is why. Here’s how to build it structurally — not just fake it: — Thoracic extension: opens your chest, makes you look and move like an apex — Hip flexor length: sitting is destroying your posture from the bottom up — Heavy deadlifts: builds the posterior chain that holds everything upright — Face pulls: fixes the forward head and rounded shoulder epidemic — Rucking: builds postural endurance so it becomes default, not effort Posture isn’t a habit. It’s a structure problem. Fix the structure. Save this.

Your posture matters but not for the reasons you think. When your head drifts forward and your body shifts away from vertical, your muscles have to work harder just to hold you up. More effort. More fatigue. More stress on the system. Posture isn’t about looking confident. It’s about how costly your body is to run. Fix the alignment. Restore the reflexes. Energy improves.

Too much arch and too much rounding can both create problems. The key is being able to move and stabilize the spine under control, not forcing it into one rigid position.

A lot of people are told to keep their back perfectly straight in everything they do. So they brace harder. Arch more. Stay rigid. But stiffness isn’t stability. Your spine isn’t designed to be locked. It’s designed to move under control. Real strength comes from good positioning, breathing, and controlled movement. Not from forcing your body into a rigid posture

Poor posture is a norm in our society. This is creating more problems for your health than you think. Most people will never address the root cause. If you have rounded shoulders, you can heal yourself by simply addressing your weaknesses in the gym. Try these 3 exercises to stand up straight and feel more confident, relaxed, and pain free. #posture

Most adults don’t realize how much their posture changes throughout the day. We spend hours at a desk, driving around in our cars, and constantly looking down at a phone. Over time, your shoulders roll forward, your upper back rounds, your neck shifts out of position. The fix usually isn’t extreme stretching or doing something dramatic. It’s strength. The movements laid out in this video are a sure fire way to “Unshrimp” your shoulders and get your posture back to where it needs to be!

Your posterior chain is the most important. 👌🏼 Posterior chain = back side. When you strength the back side of your body (back, glutes, hamstrings), you are building to protect your spine…aka postural heath. 👍🏻

Still stretching your upper back and wondering why it keeps getting tight? The real issue might not be your back at all — it might be your shoulder blades. When your scapulae stop moving well, everything else compensates: 👉 Your neck stiffens up 👉 Your shoulders overwork 👉 Your low back picks up the slack This sequence helps retrain the real controller of your upper body — the serratus anterior — and rebuilds the movement your body forgot how to use. ✅ Restores scapular glide & retraction ✅ Activates deep stabilizers (not just big movers) ✅ Teaches your brain to trust that range again Because tightness is a signal — not the problem. And sometimes the fix isn’t to stretch more… It’s to move smarter.
