Practicing in SLO-Motion. I would say im moving at about 50% power. I will get so much feedback from these swings. It’s my best opportunity to add in change or dial in what I have. Only when my 50% swings are working at an 80% success rate will I go faster towards full speed. But I will step it in between. Next is 75% and so on. My absolute favorite low point / ball striking drill here. Obviously used a lot on indoor / mats, but do this with a tee in the ground outdoors on grass as well! Low point of the swing is arguably the most important part of the entire swing. So training this (especially if you can get quantifiable data like we can with @trackmangolf ) is HUGELY important. Like always, I like drills that can be combined with other drills / Feels for good feedback #golf #golfcoach #golfswing #golfpro #goodgood

Want To Hit Pitches That Stop Dead? Then you need to manage your Spin Loft, which is the difference between AOA and Dynamic Loft… the higher your Spin Loft the higher the potential for spin becomes (up until around 55* where it drops off due to lack of friction). Increasing either your AOA or Loft will generate more spin if friction isn’t compromised by lie etc. An added point would be to strike it slightly on the toe as this reduces ball speed and allows you to swing faster creating more spin.
