How to make it: 1.Download any circle protractor image from the internet without markings and print on any coloured paper or you can make markings by yourself also but it's too time consuming and at times become untidy. 2. Make a smaller circle and give a slit as shown. 3. Paste a straw arrow at one end of the second circle and insert the smaller circle inside bigger circle as shown. 4. Paste these two circle on a cardboard. Note that stick the edges of bigger circle only. I prefer to use double tape 😜 in most of my projects to avoid stickiness. #handsonmath #mathactivity #learningthroughplay #stemactivity #geometry #angles #typesofangles

I love geometry topics because they make great hands-on math lessons. surface area is a topic that CAN come with a lot of formulas or we can let students play with real 3D figures and figure a lot of it out for themselves. I love having students create nets by graphing points because it combines so many math skills. Plus the grid helps students see each surface’s area! Then students can cut it out and make the 3D figures which they are always excited to see form.
