I didn’t want to post anything about this because I’m still kind of in shock. It just doesn’t feel real that someone like Bo is gone. I only met him once during my travels, but he came off exactly how you’d hope—just a genuinely cool, down-to-earth dude. I was hoping to met him more in the future and talk to him cause he seems like a fun person to talk to. Watching HardLore, you could feel that same energy every episode. Him and Colin had that perfect balance—Colin being the funny guy, Bo just bringing that fun, easygoing vibe. It never felt forced, just two people who genuinely clicked. I made this a few years ago because I really loved what they were doing. The humor, the chemistry, all the little moments—it stuck with me, and it’s gonna keep sticking with me for a long time. The hardcore music community is mourning the loss of Bo Lueders, founding guitarist of the Chicago band Harm’s Way and co-host of the popular HardLore podcast. Lueders passed away at the age of 38. The news was confirmed today by the band and the podcast team in an emotional statement, describing him as a beloved bandmate with “unwavering empathy” and a magnetic presence both on and off stage.
