With the completion of eight weeks of extensive maintenance on the building that houses our station, we are pleased to report that along with our main KTTZ 89.1 FM signal, HD1, HD2 Classical, and HD3 BBC are back up and running! You can also once again stream those channels direct from our website, 24/7.
We want to give a major thanks to Ron Trice, our Director of Engineering, whose incredible efforts are what allowed us to keep the main signal on air during the maintenance. His dedication and expertise are an asset to our station.
We also couldn’t have done it without our new Radio Operations Specialist Jaxon Stallings, who joined our team just weeks before the maintenance shutdown. Despite working out of a temporary office, Jaxon was able to learn the new systems and begin making significant improvements to workflows and reliability. In the time Jaxon has been part of KTTZ, we’ve seen a significant reduction in dead air issues and programming glitches.
Our KTTZ Newsroom is also excited to once again be back on broadcast, bringing you their fantastic reporting on stories and issues that aren’t being covered anywhere else. The Daily Newscast will be back on-air next week, and you can always find it on our website.
We’re proud of the work our team has put in!
