Haemoglobin (Hb) is the protein in our blood that carries oxygen to the whole body. Low Hb = • tiredness • dizziness • breathlessness • poor oxygen supply to baby (in pregnancy) 🧲 Where does iron come in? Iron is the main building block of haemoglobin. No iron → body can’t make enough Hb. Spinach is rich in non-heme iron (plant-based iron). 🍋 Why lemon is the game changer Non-heme iron is harder to absorb on its own. This is where Vitamin C steps in. Vitamin C: • converts iron into a form the body absorbs easily • increases iron absorption by 2–3 times • reduces iron loss during digestion So when you add lemon to spinach 👉 💥 iron absorption increases 💥 haemoglobin production improves 💥 results show in blood reports How I consumed it • Cooked spinach (not raw) • Added fresh lemon juice after cooking • Consistent intake • Along with doctor-prescribed supplements (very important) ⚠️ This is not a replacement for medical advice, but a powerful food habit that supported my Hb improvement.
