1MHolberg Suite. I actually recorded two versions of this but the first one was really slow and bad 😭 I only took like one part an octave down in the violin part, but other than that it's all super high, in the first version I pretty much missed every shift and knew I could do much better. I'm incredibly happy with how this one came out, I've been wanting to do this piece for a while but it seemed super hard to sync the fast rhythms together, and it was. It sounds awesome with earphones.

This suite is so nice to play and listen to! It brings back old memories of preparing the prelude for LGPE, or just having it the background studying for the SAT. I also learned a little about conducting and it’s actually pretty interesting seeing the nuances and technicalities that comes with directing a string ensemble. Huge respect to those who dedicate their lives to this because it really makes our jobs possible 🫡

BA“Holberg Suite” Jenna Lavin’s monumental ballet, beautifully choreographed to highlight the accomplishments of our students across multiple levels, was recently presented as part of our 2024 Winter Performance.
