THHere’s a fun fact about 2 Broke Girls:
💡 The diner where Max and Caroline work—Williamsburg Diner—is fictional, but it was inspired by real New York diners in Brooklyn. However, all the scenes were filmed on a studio set, not in an actual restaurant!
Another quick bonus fact: the show was co-created by comedian Whitney Cummings, who also had her own sitcom running at the same time when 2 Broke Girls premiered in 2011.

FIWhen Harvey Weinstein acquired the North American distribution rights to Princess Mononoke (1997), he approached director Hayao Miyazaki and demanded a 45-minute shorter version of the film that he believed would be better suited for American audiences.
However, Miyazaki was still very upset by the heavily cut version of his Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) that he angrily left the meeting. Several days later, Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki sent a katana sword to Weinstein’s office with two words engraved into the blade: “No cuts.”
Furious, Weinstein threatened both of their careers, but Miyazaki held the rights and his ground. The film was later released in the US in its intended uncut version. When asked about the incident in an interview, Hayao Miyazaki simply smiled and stated, “I defeated him.”
The legendary director turns 85 years old today.

ASThe Snow Panda and the Kind Doctor
Deep in the misty bamboo forests of Sichuan, a tiny miracle was born. However, unlike his siblings, this cub wasn’t black and white. He was as white as a mountain cloud—a rare albino panda. Confused by his strange appearance, his mother sadly left him behind, fearing he wouldn't survive in the wild.
A Lucky Rescue
The shivering cub was found by Doctor Aston, a compassionate veterinarian who lived in a small clinic at the edge of the forest. He gently tucked the cub into his jacket and rushed him home.
"Don't worry, little one," Dr. Aston whispered. "You're safe now."
An Unexpected Friend
At the clinic, Dr. Aston had a resident companion: Milky, a fluffy, pure white cat. When Milky first saw the panda cub, she didn't see a strange bear; she saw someone who looked just like her.
While Dr. Aston was busy preparing special milk formulas, Milky took over the "nursing" duties. She curled her warm, white body around the cub, purring loudly to soothe him. The albino panda, feeling the warmth, nuzzled into Milky’s fur and finally fell asleep.
Growing Up Together
As the weeks passed, the two became inseparable. They were a funny sight to see:
The Panda: Clumsy, round, and always trying to climb chairs.
The Cat: Sleek, agile, and teaching the panda how to "hunt" yarn balls.
Dr. Aston watched them with a smile. The panda that was once rejected for being different had found a father in a human and a sister in a cat. In the little clinic, it didn't matter that he was albino; he was exactly where he belonged.
