There was a time I needed people to get me
to see my heart clearly, to understand my intentions, to recognize my depth.
I spent energy explaining myself, softening my truth, re-phrasing my words…
thinking clarity would create connection.
But clarity doesn’t create understanding.
Inner work does.
I’ve learned that people don’t meet you
they meet themselves in you.
Their interpretation is shaped by their wounds, their awareness, their willingness to look inward.
And no amount of explaining can bridge a gap someone hasn’t crossed within themselves.
So I no longer chase being understood.
I value being aligned.
I value being at peace.
I value being true, even when it’s misread.
The right people don’t need a translation.
They feel your intention.
They recognize depth without instruction.
And everyone else?
They’re not wrong they’re just not there yet. 🤍
