BBThe mayor of London has hit back at criticisms made by Donald Trump about the capital in a speech to the United Nations.
The US president said London has "a terrible, terrible mayor, and it's been changed, it's been so changed".
He added: "Now they want to go to Sharia law."
Sir Sadiq Khan told BBC London: "People are wondering what it is about this Muslim mayor who leads a liberal, multi-cultural, progressive and successful city that means I appear to be living rent-free inside Donald Trump's head."
He went on to say the president "has shown he is racist, he is sexist, he is misogynistic and he's Islamophobic".

I tell you what I *do* like, and that’s empty roads on Christmas Day afternoon while everyone else is inside, driving along Cotswold roads in the Defender, with lights twinkling on trees and houses, and glimpses of families gathering together.
Other than a little Bucks Fizz in the morning, I never drink on Christmas Day, and after seeing loved ones all day, a classic Land Rover drive back home in Hutch is a really special thing.
