I am Jasleen working as AI+ Backend engineer in product based company. Here is how I cracked few interviews as fresher.
1. The Language:
While Go and Java are great for scale, Python is non-negotiable for AI integration.
2. Learn LLM Orchestration & RAG:
You don’t need to train models from scratch, but you must know how to build systems around them.
3. Containerization:
Master Docker and Kubernetes. AI models are heavy; knowing how to containerize an inference engine is vital.
4. Build an “AI-First” Portfolio Project:
Generic CRUD apps won’t cut it anymore. Build a project that solves a data-heavy problem.
5. Focus on “System Design for AI” in Interviews:
Caching , Rate Limiting & Asynchronous Processing.
