👇 Comment INTERVIEW and I’ll send you my free interview guide with the exact questions to ask at every stage. Most people spend hours preparing answers for interviews — but almost no one prepares the right questions. That’s a problem. Because the truth is:the questions you ask say more about you than the answers you give. They reveal how you think. How you prepare. And whether you’re operating like a candidate… or a future hire. In interviews, there is a time and place for every question. Ask the wrong question too early → you sound junior or misaligned. Ask the right question at the right moment → you stand out immediately. That’s why I broke this down step by step in my free interview guide. 👇 Comment INTERVIEW and I’ll send you my free interview guide with the exact questions to ask at every stage.

⬇️ Whatever you do, don’t tell them anything personal. ❌ A job interview is NOT a conversation with a friend, or a date. If the job interview is going well and it is very conversational, you may feel as though you can be honest, like they really want to get to know you. Trust me, they do this to get you to open up and talk. They want to know where you see yourself in 5 years because they don’t want to hire someone who wants to get married and have kids. They don’t want to hire you if you want to go to grad school or start your own business. ✅ So there is only one answer to this interview question and that is, “I see myself here at this company.” ❌ Don’t overthink it. ❌ Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be. ❌ Don’t try to convince them that you’re ambitious by sharing your plans with them because the only plans they care about is you working for them - so tell them what they want to hear. #jobinterview #interviewtips #jobs #howtoanswerinterviewquestions #recruitment

If you are in the pits of interview hell... save this! If I wasn’t worried about hurting your feelings, here’s the truth about interviews: 👉 You’re not bad at interviews. You’re badly positioned. 👉 You prepare answers instead of preparing stories. 👉 You think detail equals impact. It doesn’t. 👉 You’re still using frameworks designed decades ago. 👉 You’re describing tasks instead of outcomes. 👉 You’re saying “I supported” when you actually led After 20 years in recruitment, I can tell you this: Interviews don’t reward effort They reward positioning The candidates who get hired don’t sound busy They sound valuable They explain: • What they walked into • What they actually did • What changed because of them • Why it mattered • How they evolved That’s the difference If this hit, comment STRIVE and I’ll send you the framework I teach Save this before your next interview #CapCut #interview #interviewtips #jobsearch

Most people ruin this interview question: “Why do you want this role?” They start praising the company. “I admire your company.” “I’ve always wanted to work here.” “I’m really excited about this opportunity.” But interviewers are not looking for an ego massage. It’s not our company. We work there too. What we’re actually trying to understand is simple: Why this job makes sense to you. Why this type of work interests you. And how you arrived at this decision. The best answers don’t flatter the company. They explain your thinking. Save this if you are preparing for interviews. #interviewtips #jobinterview #interviewquestions #careeradvice

✨ INTERVIEW TIP: “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” 📌 SAVE this for your next job interview. 👥 SHARE with someone who's job hunting. Have you ever been asked this question and been stumped with how to respond? 🤔 Here’s a simple structure you can use every time: 1️⃣ Share what you’ll be doing (break it into phases). Think short-term growth → mid-term progression. Example: “My focus in the first 1–2 years would be to really master the role and become a subject matter expert. Then over the following few years, I’d love to take on more responsibility and lead projects.” 2️⃣ Show genuine interest in the industry. Signal that you’re invested in where it’s heading. “I’m really excited about where this industry is going and the opportunity to grow within it.” 3️⃣ Anchor it to the company. Make them part of the picture. “I see this company as the ideal place to deepen my expertise and contribute in a meaningful way.” Now here’s where people go wrong 👇 If you say: ❌ “Running my own business” ❌ "In a totally different field" Even if that’s true… you risk sounding like a flight risk. Instead, focus on the skills you want to build in your future state and explain how this role helps you develop them. For example: “While I’m still shaping the long-term picture, I see myself developing strong leadership skills, managing projects and eventually leading larger teams. I believe this company would give me the right exposure to grow in that direction.” 👀 See the difference? You’re ambitious. But still aligned to what the company is looking for! 🤷 How would you answer this question? 👇 🔥 If you want my guide with more practical job interview tips, comment GUIDE below 😉 #jobseeker #jobinterview #jobinterviewtips #hiring #jobsearch

Please DON’T be too honest about these 4 things in a Job Interview 👇 If you’re preparing for interviews right now, you might want to save this post. Let me explain something first. I’m not saying you should lie. But in interviews, how you frame the truth matters. Because sometimes being too direct can cost you the opportunity. Here are 4 answers you should frame carefully in your next interview: 1️⃣ Why is there a gap in your resume? Instead of saying: “I couldn’t find a job.” Say something like: “I used that time to improve my skills, take online courses, and focus on professional growth.” This shows initiative instead of struggle. 2️⃣ Why are you leaving your current/previous job? Never complain about your boss or company. A better answer: “I’m grateful for the experience I gained there, but I’m now looking for a role that aligns better with my long-term career goals.” This keeps your answer positive and professional. 3️⃣ What are your salary expectations? Don’t throw out a random number. A better response: “Based on my research and the responsibilities of the role, I’m looking for a compensation range that aligns with industry standards and reflects the value I can bring.” This shows confidence and preparation. 4️⃣ What are your hobbies or interests? Avoid answers that feel unrelated or passive. Instead say: “Outside work, I enjoy activities like reading, learning new skills, and staying updated with industry trends.” It subtly shows growth mindset and curiosity. Remember: In interviews, it’s not just what you say. It’s how you present it.
