Located in DUMBO, Brooklyn, ippudo V took a step forward. Yes! Their famous brand decided to open an all vegan spot, same wonderful flavor but plant based. FRIENDS! I’m not gonna lie it was some the BEST JAPANESE food I’ve ever had, you could tell the finesse of the combination of all the ingredients in every dish. We tried smoothies to start because it was really hot outside and believe when I tell you this is not you typical smoothie. BLUEBERRY BLEND, it was so fresh and their yuzu takes it to the next level. ESPRESSO EXPRESSO, was rich and recharging. MAITAKE TEMPURA, with a side of mineral rich maldon salt paired with a curry dipping sauce, was on point. GOMA Q cucumbers were fresh and flavorful. SHISHITO peppers came with a citrus Yuzu salt. Mmm yummy The PLA-TON | TONKOTSU estaba increible it was creamy and filled with deep flavors. ME ENCANTÓ SHOJIN | SHOYU. it was rich, flavorsome and topped with the cutest micro flowers, truly a piece of art. The service was spectacular, big shout-out to the wonderful people working there, their attention met the high quality of the food, they were friendly, informative and gave the extra mile to explain some of the ingredients and items on the menu. The place is so spacious, modern, bright, neat, welcoming, I could tell the love and effort placed in the decoration. YOU HAVE TO GO if you are in New York, just trust me! Take the metro it’s not that far and you will be so happy to try their food. We indulged in the Shiromaru Classic, Akamaru Modern, and Karaka ramen, and wow, the pork loin and belly chashu were absolutely amazing! 😍 That rich, flavorful soup is pure comfort in a bowl! We also treated ourselves to crispy Chicken Karaage and Gyoza, both of which were incredible. And don’t miss the GomaQ,pickled cucumbers, garlic, crushed sesame that add the perfect kick! 🤤🔥 We truly enjoyed every bite and can’t recommend this place enough!
