Racing games, and racing simulators are two different things. With a proper sim title like iRacing, paired with the best hardware money can buy not just anyone can jump in a race and take Podium.
Track temperatures, cold tires, cold brakes, and aero should all be top of mind when you jump on track.
In this video, P1 Steve has a clean pass in turn 1 and late brakes and locks up heading into turn 6. What the video doesn’t show, is Steve can feel that he locked the brakes through the D-box motion + haptics system as well as audibly hear the tires sliding and feel the understeer through the feedback in his steering wheel.
