Visual & Media Analysis A close comparison of the two published images shows that the scene framing is almost identical in both. The background curtain, the Islamic Republic flag on the left, and the wall frames appear in nearly the same positions. Even the vertical lines of the curtain align with the person’s head and shoulders in a very similar proportion—something that would normally change with even a slight shift in camera angle or body movement. The direction of light, shadows, and even the folds of the flag fabric also look strikingly similar. In media analysis, such overlaps may suggest the possibility that archival frames or visual rearrangements were used. However, confirming any digital manipulation would require access to the original video and frame-by-frame analysis. Based on my assessment, the opaque behavior of the IRGC in recent days has raised serious questions about the real status of Mojtaba Khamenei. One possible interpretation is that he may have disappeared from the scene at the same time as Ali Khamenei, while the regime’s security structure attempts to preserve the image of his continued presence to maintain symbolic stability.
