For 20 years living in Britain, I heard about this “jellied eels” and just couldn’t imagine what it would be like to eat. I didn’t like the sound of it, to be honest. I mean, I love grilled eel, but jellied?! As you all know, I love loads of British food/snacks. And usually British food is criticised for not being adventurous, but most of the recipes are simple but lovely with a comforting taste. Well… this is the most adventurous British (or should I say London) food I have ever come across. I couldn’t swallow this one 😐 Also Rob and I were told that the eel used to be caught from River Thames… 😅 we weren’t sure if that was a good thing! Have you ever tried it?
