lately i’ve been noticing something that kind of freaks me out 👇 i’ll be hanging out with friends and we’ll joke about forgetting things, losing our train of thought mid-sentence, rereading the same message over and over, not remembering what we did last weekend unless someone jogs our memory. at first it’s like haha brain fog 🤪 but then it hit me… i literally depend on my camera roll to remember my own life. 🫠 and the strange part? it’s happening to everyone. it’s not just exhaustion. it’s not just being busy. it’s this ongoing mental blur. days blend together. conversations don’t really register. focus vanishes instantly. even thinking feels heavier than it used to 🧠 once i started saying it out loud, everyone was like wait… me too. every single person in my friend group feels mentally slower than before. overwhelmed by basic tasks. constantly seeking stimulation but struggling to concentrate. surviving on anxiety, caffeine, and vibes ✨ i don’t think this is normal. and i don’t think we’re lazy or overreacting. i genuinely believe something is off with how we live, how we scroll, how much nonstop input our brains are forced to handle 24/7 🤍 that’s why i’ve been way more intentional about brain care lately, not in a scary way, but in a gentle, preventative, future-me-will-be-grateful way. i started treating my brain like my body. small daily check-ins, focus and memory exercises, tracking how sharp i feel over time 🫶 i’ve been using an app called Stay You, and it honestly showed me how much i’d been neglecting my brain. seeing my cognitive age, keeping a streak, noticing real progress instead of just guessing, it made brain health feel tangible and kind of empowering 💖 anyway, if you’ve been feeling foggy, forgetful, mentally drained, or like your brain is constantly stuck on low-battery mode… you’re not alone. and no, you’re not making it up 🤍 comment “Stay You” if you want me to share the tool i use to protect my brain 🫶
