EULet’s do my hair care routine together.
1. Set a relaxing atmosphere before you attempt to do your hair. This really informs your behavior and how you will treat your hair. The more relaxed you are, the more gentle you will be with your hair.
2. Using @kcurlsys deep conditioning smoothie first, I soften the dirt, lint and product buildup at the roots of my hair for easy takedown.
3. Separate your hair to remove any shed hair. Cut stringy ends before heading into the shower. If you do not do this, it will create more tangles while shampooing which may increase the chances of breakage during detangling.
4. I double cleanse my hair or use a detox shampoo
5. Deep condition hair fully to strengthen the protein bonds in your hair that may have been weakened from manipulation, wears and tears, or not treating your hair while in protective styling.
6. Use a microfiber hair towel to dry your hair, !! PLEASE!! Because they are highly absorbent, they cut down drying time in half. Without this, your opened hair cuticles become saturated with water and, swell thus weakening the hair.
7. Moisturize the hair with a leave in conditioner or strengthening serum and then add an oil to seal moisture.
