Raising the ball up with one hand to get into your set point before shooting will automatically correct the alignment of your shot.
What I also love about this drill is it allows the player to actually stabilize the elbow at the basket so that in return they can actually shoot the ball rather than just pushing it from their shoulders (like we see with so many kids).
