NY@kelloggsdinerbk is back open and has been all over my feed the past few days. Pro-tip : make a reservation on resy or line up at 4:30pm to receive seating at a booth unless you don’t care to be seating at the bar. They open at 5pm in the afternoon.
Try their chicken and waffles, nachos and strawberry pretzel salad. If you’re an ice cream lover you must try their Jays caramel banana cookie swirl sundae it’s so good.

I'm sure you've heard about all the outrage about Kelloggs CEO comments. Cereal is meant to be a "cheaper option" but when I looked it up a box of cereal cost more than a lb of organic grass fed beef.... and what's going to leave your family more full and satisfied quality beef or sugar loaded processed junk?
Are grocery prices skyrocketing? Yes. My family has been feeling it too! It's the most we've ever spent on food, but that doesn't mean I'm going to the cereal aisle for bioengineered , sugary glyphosate sprayed chemical junk. Not to mention the price on Kellogg's cereal has increased 28% over the last few years ensuing more profits while making people sick.
You can save money other ways. Buy meat in bulk, store in a freezer, buy a whole chicken and repurpose it- a whole chicken can make our family 3-4 meals and I use the carcass to make bone broth! Make your own bread , condiments, pickles. There's other ways to save money on your groceries without exposing your family to chemicals, sugar and junk. For me and my family - buying Kellogg's is NOT it.
Let's stop supporting these big food conglomerates.

GRFinally tried @kelloggsdinerbk for myself. I almost always order the Caesar when I see one, so that was an easy choice.
Chef @jackiecarnesi’s cilantro Caesar was so good I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I had to borrow a little inspiration.
At @5acres_nyc, we went with basil, boquerones, and kept it heavy on the dressing. Still salty, just a bit less fish-forward.

MYKellogg’s wants you to eat cereal for dinner and is quietly lobbying to shape the 2025 federal health guidelines.
Kellogg’s spent $1.3Mn on disclosed political lobbying in 2023 and $1.39Mn in 2022. This doesn’t include money paid to influencers, fund studies, or health agencies.
Right to repair discovered that Kellogg’s gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
Kellogg’s has already sued the Mexican government to fight their new health oriented labeling laws.
