MITorties 🥰 There’s no one like them! I’d never even heard of tortoiseshell cats until agreeing to foster one named Lucy almost 10 years ago through @thebond_between. I ended up adopting her, but she was already 6 when we met so I never knew her as a kitten. Getting to foster two tortie kittens in the past year has kind of filled in that part of Lu’s history I didn’t have a chance to experience.
Quite a few people have commented on my shared that they never got to know their adopted torties when they were young either and that seeing baby Violet (now Ginger) and Frankie has helped them picture their cats as kittens, too. A sweet unexpected ripple effect 🧡🖤🤎
