This isn’t just a policy update. It’s a complete reset of how salaries, leaves, work hours, and employee rights will work across the country. Here’s a simple breakdown of the most important changes: • Basic Pay must be at least 50 percent of CTC • Gratuity is now available after just 1 year for fixed-term employees • Earned Leave can be availed after 180 days of service • 4-day work week is allowed (weekly total must stay at 48 hours) • Overtime will now be paid at 2x the standard wage • Full & Final settlement must be completed within 2 working days • Monthly salary must be credited before the 7th every month Why this matters: For employees — it means more transparency, faster settlements, and stronger financial security. For companies — it means cleaner compliance, clearer structures, and a workforce that knows its rights. India’s labour landscape has officially entered a new era. केंद्र सरकार देशात चार नवीन लेबर कोडची प्रभावी अंमलबजावणी करण्याच्या तयारीत असून, यामुळे खासगी आणि सरकारी क्षेत्रातील नोकरीचे नियम पूर्णपणे बदलणार आहेत. त्यानुसार मूळ पगार एकूण पगाराच्या ५०% असणे अनिवार्य असेल, ज्यामुळे 'इन-हँड' पगार घटणार पण पीएफ वाढेल. नोकरी सोडल्यास २ दिवसांत पूर्ण पगार देणे कंपनीला बंधनकारक असेल. आता ५ वर्षांऐवजी केवळ १ वर्षाच्या सेवेनंतरही ग्रेच्युटी मिळणार. आठवड्याला ४८ तास काम करावे लागणार असून ४ दिवसांचा आठवडा करायचा असल्यास कामासाठी रोज १२ तास ड्युटी आवश्यक असेल. ठरवून दिलेल्या वेळेपेक्षा जास्त कामासाठी अर्थात ओव्हरटाईमसाठी दुप्पट दराने मोबदला मिळेल. प्रत्येक कर्मचाऱ्याला सॅलरी स्लिप आणि नियुक्ती पत्र देणे अनिवार्य असेल. २० पेक्षा जास्त कर्मचारी असलेल्या सर्व संस्थांमधील कर्मचाऱ्यांना पीएफ नियम लागू होईल. डिलिव्हरी बॉय आणि फ्रीलान्सर्सना प्रथमच सामाजिक सुरक्षा विम्याचा लाभ मिळेल. तसेच समान वेतन लागू होणार आहे. #LabourCodes #EmployeeRights #PF #Gratuity #JobNews #BreakingNews #Maharashtra #MarathiNews #DigitalPrabhat
