Raising cane’s chicken tenders at home 🥰 Marinade: • 1.5 lb (700 g) chicken tenders • 1 cup buttermilk • 1 tsp hot sauce (i use tabasco) • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp black pepper • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Dry coating: • 2 cups (300 g) all-purpose flour • 2/3 cup (90 g) cornstarch • 1 tsp baking powder • 1.5 tsp salt • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 tsp smoked paprika • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) Cane’s sauce: • 1/2 cup (120 g) mayonnaise • 1/4 cup (60 g / 4 tbsp) ketchup • 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce • 1 tsp black pepper • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp paprika Instructions: 1. Mix all marinade ingredients, add chicken, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. 2. Combine dry coating ingredients. add a bit of marinade to create small flour clumps. 3. Coat chicken evenly, pressing gently so the flour sticks well. 4. Heat oil to 170–175°c and fry for 4–6 minutes until golden and crispy. drain on a wire rack. 5. Mix cane’s sauce ingredients and chill for 1 hour before serving. #raisingcanes #chickentenders #chickenrecipes #recipe

The Spiced Kofta-Burger Tortilla Wrap ​Ingredients ​For the Beef Patty: • ​Ground Beef: 2 lb (approx 1kg) • ​Aromatics: Finely chopped onion and fresh parsley • ​Binder/Moisture: 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt & 1/4 cup tomato sauce • ​Spices: 1 tbsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 ½ tbsp kofta spices, 1 ½ tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp turmeric • ​The Core: 1 thick slice of your favorite cheese (Cheddar or Swiss) plus a handful of shredded mozzarella ​For the Wrap & Toppings: • ​Tortillas: Large flour tortillas • ​Veggies: Onion slices, tomato slices, and fresh lettuce • ​Finish: Butter or oil for pan-searing ​Instructions ​1. Prepare the Kofta Patty ​In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, parsley, chopped onion, Greek yogurt, tomato sauce, and all the spices. Mix thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed. • ​Stuffing: Take a portion of the meat and form a large ball. Dumplings • 1/2 lb ground pork • 3 tablespoons soy sauce • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced • 1 tablespoon ginger paste • Pepper • 1 package wonton wrappers In a bowl, combine the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, green onions, ginger, and pepper. Mix well. To fill the wontons, lightly wet the edges of a wonton wrapper with water. Place about 1/2 teaspoon of filling in the center, fold in half to seal, then bring the bottom corners together and press to form a dumpling. Repeat with remaining and set aside. Soup • 10 cups chicken broth • 2 tablespoons soy sauce • 1 lb bok choy, chopped • 3/4 cup green onions, sliced Bring the chicken broth to a gentle simmer. Stir in the soy sauce, bok choy, and green onions. Simmer for about 2 minutes, until the bok choy softens. RECIPE 👩🏽‍🍳👩🏽‍🍳👩🏽‍🍳 My take on Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe Ingredients: 1. 3.9 lb chuck roast 2. 4 cups beef broth 3. 4 cups water 4. Ranch packet 5. Au Jus Gravy Packet 6. 3 tbsp olive oil 7. Seasonings of your choice. I use garlic powder, onion powder, old bay, creole seasoning, hidden valley ranch seasoning 8. Peperoncini 9. Peperoncini juice 10. 8 small/medium red potatoes, cut into fourths. Directions: 1. Season front & back of chuck roast with seasonings of choice. (Ranch seasoning is key) 2. Sear both sides until you get a crispy golden brown color. 3. Set roast aside 4. In the same pot, add 4 cups of beef broth. 5. Deglaze the pot 6. Add in ranch seasoning packet & Au jus gravy packet. 7. Add 3-4 cups of water. 8. Place roast in pot 9. Add 3-5 peperoncini’s 10. Add some peperoncini juice (1/3 of a cup) 11. Bake at 300 for 4 hours. 12. when you have an hour and a half left, add in diced potatoes. (Add carrots too if you want. I was going to but mine were old.) 13. Roast is ready when it’s fork tender 14. Serve over rice. My fav szn 🤍 #cooking #brothyrice
