I have a super easy hack to help you change quickly when at the LDS temple. Just like most men, I wear my top and my socks to the temple, so I just have to switch into my white skirt and slip on my white shoes and I’m good to go. If you’d like to get these for yourself, just comment “FAVES” below and I’ll send you the link! The socks are the best! And be sure to follow @ldsmentalhealthco for practical, gospel-centered mental health skills taught by an LDS therapist for women just like you.

Just because we've done things a certain way for a long time doesn't mean we've always done things that way, or will always have to do things that way in the future! I'm not advocating for anything, I just love learning about our history. Similar to how family history can help give context and understanding to our current lives and circumstances, temple history can give context and added meaning to why we do the things we do in temples, and how we got to this point. Normally when I talk about temple changes, I talk about the controversial stuff (which I'm sure I'll be accused of ignoring or hiding in the comment section, should this video reach outside of my usual audience). But I've learned that sometimes when we hyperfocus on the controversial stuff, we miss out on a bunch of other changes that have occurred that are just FASCINATING. Those are the kind of changes I wanted to focus on in this video. Everyone is thinking it, no one is talking about it. At $12.3M the builder took a risk building this home so close to an LDS Temple, and in our opinion, THEY PULLED IT OFF. What do you think? This is Parade home #4. Great job @modernedgedesignbuild! Listed by Century 21 Everest and the Burnett Group.

Here’s a look at what a typical LDS Temple exit looks like with me!! Some things I make sure to capture • Anticipation from friends and family before the couple exit • The couple coming out and the first kiss!! • Depending on the temple exit layout I have them walk through a tunnel of friends and family! • One kiss at the end of the tunnel to have all friends and family in the background! Capturing these weddings are so special! I feel so lucky I get to capture these moments as a job🫶🏽✨ #ldswedding #gilbertarizonatemple #utahweddingphotographer #weddingday #weddingphotographer #raybanmeta

Below are some of the questions a person is asked to determine if they are worthy to enter the Mormon temple: • Do you sustain the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the Prophet, Seer, and Revelator and as the only person on the earth who possesses and is authorized to exercise all priesthood keys? Do you sustain members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators? Do you sustain the other General Authorities and local authorities of the Church? (Jesus would answer in the negative) • Do you support, affiliate with, or agree with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? (Jesus would answer in the affirmative) • Are you a full-tithe payer? (Jesus would answer in the negative) • Do you keep the Word of Wisdom? (Jesus would answer in the negative) • Do you wear your temple garments both night and day as instructed in the endowment and in accordance with the covenants made in the temple? (Jesus would answer in the negative) Jesus would not be in line with any of those, and would therefore fail His temple interview and be denied a recommend. But, taking into consideration the anti-Biblical nature and Luciferian foundation of the LDS temple, I doubt Jesus would even want to go inside one…if He did, it would only be to flip over some tables. #exmormon #exlds #exmormonmemes #exmormonthoughts #lds #jesus #christian #christianblogger #christianreels

A new large-scale econometric study analyzed 42 LDS temple locations and 15 years of Zillow data to test the idea of a “temple premium.” 📈 Homes in temple city ZIP codes did outperform national averages by about 22%. But here’s the catch: Most of that outperformance appears to be selection bias — temples are often built in areas that were already on strong growth trajectories. The research shows correlation, not causation. In other words: Temples tend to be near higher-value markets, but the study does not conclusively prove the temple itself causes price growth. 🔎 Smaller, local Utah studies show mixed results: • Payson: No significant price difference before vs. after the temple • Draper: Home values fell within a mile after completion Bottom line: Temples may signal desirable areas — but they’re not a guaranteed value booster. Real estate is always more nuanced than the headline. 🏡📊

Today a speaker, an orthopedic trauma surgeon, spoke about how, as a man of science, he’s often asked why he believes what he does or attends the church he does. His answer was simple, “Because I want to”. It made me stop and think. In a world where people are attacked for their beliefs, or even their non beliefs, why can’t we all just accept that we have the choice in our faith? After all, faith is not a tangible thing. No one else can see it. We just feel it, deep inside. It’s personal and a belief. The majority of my life, I’ve been told by others that I don’t believe the right things and that I attend the wrong church. I think the first time was when I went to a friend’s church and an entire lesson was devoted to how horrible my church was. I’ve never had a lesson at my church about another church. We mostly just talk about Jesus. In 7th or 8th grade, I was told that I wasn’t welcome at the local youth group of a different faith. Later, I was made fun of in high school for not drinking alcohol. As an adult, I was told by older and wiser coworkers that my parents brainwashed me. I saw protestors outside of the LDS temple being built in San Antonio. Members of a different church signed up to carry signs as we approached that read Mormons were going to end up in a really hot place. Movies, television shows, comedy shows and a Broadway musical mock my faith. I am often sought out by previous members of my church on social media to taunt me and tell me how wrong I am. All these people do know that they can believe what they believe and I can believe what I believe, and we can still be kind to each other? I want to believe what I do, I want to attend the church I go to, I want to pray, I want to read the scriptures, I want to be with my family forever, I want to raise my children in this gospel, I want to be a good person, I want to help others, I want to live a healthy lifestyle and I want to walk by faith. And I believe that there’s nothing bad in any of that. ❤️ “Your faith will grow not by chance, but by choice.” @neillandersen #smithsundaypictures #walkbyfaith #churchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints #lds #walkbyfaith #family #sundaymoments

There are days in life you’ll always remember… and I think today is one of those days. 💛 Today, my oldest son Will was married — sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa LDS Temple. 💍💒 It was one of the most beautiful, sacred, joy-filled days of my life. Watching your child begin their forever with someone they love is something words can hardly describe. A day filled with love, laughter, tears (the happy kind), and so many tender moments I’ll treasure forever. 💫 #EternalMarriage #MesaTemple #ForeverFamily #TempleSealing #SpecialDay #ProudMama #FamilyIsForever #WeddingDayMagic #HeartIsFull
