ORLisping is a speech difference where a person say certain sounds like, most commonly /s/ and /z/ in an unusual way.
This happens because the tongue is not in its typical position when making the sound, which changes how the sound comes out.
Normally, for /s/ and /z/ sounds, the tongue tip is placed close to the alveolar ridge (just behind the upper front teeth) that is >>> without touching the teeth, and air flows straight down the middle.
